Rival Demons is on Fire!

The Peachville High Demons series

This is the fifth and last installment of my review of the current 5 books of the **Peachville High Demons series. It is a Young Adult Paranormal Fantasy written by **Sarra Cannon, an Indie Author.

 *Rival Demons – Book 5  4.5 stars

After narrowly escaping death at the hand of the Order of Shadows, Harper finds herself thrust into the strange and beautiful world of the shadow demons. But crossing through the portal doesn’t mean she is safe. The Order of Shadows is determined to bring her home and transfer the Prima line to the Harris family. They send their most vicious hunters after Harper. Hunters who will not stop until they have found their prey.

Determined to keep her safe, Jackson takes her deep into an underground world filled with dangers of its own. Here, Harper will begin a journey that will teach her more about herself and her own path than she ever imagined possible.

But will her relationship with Jackson survive?

A whole new world. Harper and Jackson were truly in unknown territory as a couple. Jackson know what he was doing, mostly, but Harper wan’t taking any chances, Mary Ann was hurt and who was Lea, really? Sure, Lea was one of his demon friends, but Harper was taking no chances and was keeping an eye on her while in the Demon world.

Jackson, Harper, Lea and Mary Ann went into the Underworld to stay safe from the Hunters. As time progressed the characters did their own thing but at the same time it was pieces of a whole. The characters were not moving around so much. They had their own agendas each day and did things without each other for the most part. Lea and Jackson were together more than anything.

Harper, however, had a goal. She wanted to be the best Harper she could be. She did not give up on her training. Like a homebound person who has nothing else to do, why not just do sit ups and keep in shape? Well, she kept in shape and a whole lot more.

Harper got to show of her mad skills once or twice so Jackson got to know just how much of a badass she really was, even if she wasn’t a demon. So, when the group set off again on the quest she had more confidence in herself.

I truly loved the ending of this book. It was an awesome way to introduce another book, but I wished really hard when I read it that the 6th book was going to be double the size of the 5th book, just because I don’t want it to end. I’ll pay double the price. Or maybe we could have some spinoffs. Perhaps a movie. Has anyone approached Sarra yet, I wonder? A TV deal? This is better than Buffy.

And finally, the storyline, concept, grammar, punctuation, fluidity, freakishness, icky characters, mean girls and boys, evil adults, portals, motor cycle riding demons and parents are all GREAT in my opinion.

**Sarra Cannon, Author

Sarra Cannon grew up in a small town in Georgia where she learned that being popular always comes at a price. Now, she lives in North Carolina with her amazing husband and her teeny tiny Pomeranian,Snickerdoodle. Books and music are her greatest passions. She has never been a cheerleader, but it’s possible she knows a few things about casting spells.
